Diamond Stud offers the most powerful Oldenburg bloodlines of today. His phenomenal sire Diamond Hit is a Champion many times over, including titles earned at the World Championships for Young Horses and the Bundeschampionat. The German Ministry of Agriculture honored Diamond Hit as the Best Licensed and Performance Tested stallion of all breeds in 2001. Diamond Hit is sired by international Grand Prix stallion Don Schufro. Diamond Hit's dam, Elite mare Loretta, is also dam of legendary Sandro Hit as well as the Premium stallion Royal Hit.

Diamond Stud's damline is hard to overlook. Damsire, Lavarino, was Champion of the 1996 Holsteiner Stallion Licensing. Lavarino's exquisite movement and athletic capability are exemplary of his sire Laval I's reliable influence. Laval I is considered one of the best modern Holsteiner influences, with offspring competing in the top levels in both jumping and dressage. Holsteiner blood is not only a guarantee for supremacy in the jumping arena, But have proven to be one of the most influential bloodlines in dressage as well. Lavall I completed his stallion testing in 1989 in Adelheidsdorf.

Diamond Stud's granddam is sired by none other than Rohdiamant, one of the most successful sons of the great Rubinstein I. Lisa Wilcox successfully campaigned Rohdiamant to Grand Prix, and went on to achieve Olympic status with his son Relevant. Rohdiamont has produced a number of offspring competing Grand Prix. His foals have a highly rideable index, are elastic, and elegant horses, which confirms him as a legacy.

In March 2009 at Diamond Stud successfully completed his 30 day test at Silver Creek Farms where he was the highest scoring stallion in his Walk, Trot & ride-ability, and 2nd highest scoring stallion for canter & jumping. This noble black stallion presents a striking appearance with his uphill build and all black coat, complete with four white stockings and a star. His movement is powerful, supple and athletic. Equally impressive is his gentlemanly demeanor in the barn and with people.

With a pedigree full of Grand Prix stars, Diamond Stud offers a rich heritage of top performers and proven rideability. He has sired a high percentage of Premium foals, his oldest offspring have just been started under saddle they are displaying not only, very good gaits, but also very good ride-ability.

Diamond Stud successfully completed the 70 day test at Silver Creek Farm in 2010. Some of his score highlights were, the Test Directors scores, Character "10", Temperament "9.5", Willingness to work "9", constitution "9", ridability "8.5". Judges scores movement walk "8.5", trot " 8.50", canter "8.75".


Diamond Stud has shown successfully to 4th level dressage as well.

Diamond Hit

Both on breeding level and competition level, Diamond Hit produces one highlight after the other. He became Reserve Champion at the 2002 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden and at the 2002 Bundeschampionate in Warendorf. The year prior, he was reserve regional and reserve Bundeschampion in the four-year old stallion division. At the 2001 Bundeschampionate, the German ministry of Agriculture proclaimed him Best Licensed and Performance Tested stallion. At the moment, Diamond Hit is currently trained and competed at S-level. In Fritzens (AUT) he finished second and third in the small tour, and at the CDI Wiesbaden, he landed top places as well.

 

His licensed son Donavan became Bundeschampion in Warendorf in 2005 and reserve Bundeschampion in 2006, his daughter Loxana was the sovereign champion at the Oldenburg Elite Mare show in Rastede, where ten Diamond Hit daughters were named State Premium Mare. Diamantbörse became Oldenburg Regional Champion for 3-year old riding horses and achieved a top knock down price at the Vechta Elite Auction in the autumn of 2005. The amount of licensed offspring is currently ticking at eight and is still rising.

 

Diamond Hit was proclaimed VTV-Dressage Stallion of the Year in 2005. Based on his own performances and on those of his offspring, Diamond Hit currently captures eight place on the ranking of all German breeding stallions.

 

Diamond Hit descends from the best bloodlines. His sire Don Schufro, who has been leading the FN-Breeding Value Index since 2001, is currently competed by the Danish Andreas Helgstrand at Grand Prix level. His dam, Elite Mare Loretta, produced licensed sons Sandro Hit, Diamond Hit and Royal Hit, making her the source of one of the most successful Oldenburg mare lines of her generation. Ramino and Welt As complete Diamond Hit’s pedigree and are world class performance sires.


Lavarino

Rohdiamant

Diamond Stud's grand damsire, Rohdiamant, followed in the footsteps of his legendary sire Rubinstein I and became a foundation stallion on his own. He was born in 1990 at breeder Hans Francksen's yard in Butjadingen, Germany. He was discovered by Gudula Vorwerk-Happ and Jochen Happ. He became the licensing champion and stood him up for stud until 2009 when Gestut Vorwerk was sold. Since then he has been standing at the Lodbergen Performance Centre.

Rohdiamant became a double Bundeschampion and was trained and competed up to Grand Prix level by for instance Nicole Uphoff and Lisa Wilcox. In 2010 he was ranked third on the WBFSH ranking.

Rohdiamant has produced a staggering amount of successful dressage horses: He has 50 licensed offspring, including Ron William, Rhodon, Rosenberg, Rosentanz, and Blue Hors Romanov. More than 100 offspring competed at S-level, including Responsible OLD/Helen Langehanenberg, Eremo del Castegno/Valentina Truppa/ITA and young rider' horses Revino and Roman Nature/Angela Krooswijk/NED. Almost 90 of his daughters were State Premium Mares and daughter Reine Seide became Oldenburg Elite Mare Champion, while Romanika was Rhinelander Elite Mare Champion. Rohdiamant is also the dam sire of Victoria Max-Theurer's Augustin OLD.
