Foundation

(Fidertanz/DeVito/Andiamo)

Foundation, who is by Fidertanz/DeVito/Andiamo, is an extraordinary positive power stallion with exceptional presence packed into a very good sized frame.  This stunning stallion is blessed with impressive, beautifully rhythmic and powerful paces and is an incomparably dynamic mover. He shows himself as a very noble and rideable young stallion with a natural power.  In addition, he is gifted with a certain charisma only a few young stallions have.

Foundation passed his 30-day test in Schlieckau with excellent scores: Twice a 10.0 for trot and canter in the final test, 9.5 each for character and willingness to perform as well as 9.25 for rideabiltiy. Foundation finished his test with an average score of 9.13 for inner values, 9.57 for trot and canter.

Foundation originates from the athletic, highly successful dam line of Paninka, producer of Isabell Werth's multiple Grand Prix winner Apache, Olympic horse Escapado/Carl Hester and Hans Peter Minderhoud, the Inter I horses Lucky Luke, Wivara, Wocelli, Adolfo FRH and Cheyenne, who were both successful in three-stars competitions, and several others. Granddam Weniga presented the 17-time advanced level test winner Queeny, who competed successfully in the short Grand Prix with Victoria Michalke, and the Prix St. Georges winner Lord/Kathleen Keller.

Latest  News!!! As written by Emily Yeomans of the GOV: "Each year the German Oldenburg Verband recognizes two, young four-year-old stallions to bestow the Hauptprämiensieger ('Main Premium') title upon one OL-Dressage and one OS-Jumping stallion. The promising young stallion Foundation (Fidertanz x De Vito x Andiamo) was selected as the 2012 winner of the OL title. The Hauptprämiensieger stallions are chosen based upon the outstanding results of their first foal crops combined with performance success. Foundation was approved in 2010 at Vechta and has since gone on to complete his Stallion Performance Test at Schliekau with a 9.06 in dressage and have good placings in sport. Combine this with the success of his first crop; six foals were selected for Auction in Vechta, with one colt selling for 32,000 Euros and you have your 2012 Oldenburger Hauptprämiensieger! Past OL winners include stallions who have since gone onto very big things including; Sir Donnerhall, Rubin Royal, Fürstenball, Fürst Romancier, Sorento, San Amour etc. The prestigious Hauptprämiensieger title is a further selection and recognition of quality in young stallions."

Foundation's Pedigree

Fidertanz

Foundation's sire, Fidertanz, was the absolute shining star at the 14th NRW main approval in 2004. He left the scene with standing ovations as the undisputed Champion Stallion. Three exceptional basic paces, caution and ability at the fence, an easy going temperament and an exterior that leaves nothing to be desired left no doubt that he was the justified winner. His sire, Fidermark, won his performance test and has won the Bundeschampionat, Optimum and Grand Prix. Grandsire, Ravallo, also won his performance test with an index of 155 (dressage 157.52 – 1st place, jumping 127.5 – 5th place).  Frühlingstraum II is deemed one of the pillars of Wesphalian breeding and through Romadour II, Fidermark is inbred three times to founding stallion, Ramzes x. Findertanz's dam, granddam and great granddam were State Premium mares and competed in final rings. This dam line has produced numerous licensed sons and many of their offspring are successful up to advanced level in sport. In 2006 Fidertanz won young horses dressage tests and he was main premium stallion in Oldenburg. In 2007 he won the qualification for the German Young Horses Championships with 8, 8 points. He has many victories in Prix St George and top placings in Intermediare I. More than 30 sons of Fidertanz have been licensed, including the NRW Champion Stallion and National Championships participant, Flanagan. Several offspring were placed in the finals of the Federal Championships, including FairyTail, on the German squad for the World Cup dressage horses in 2011. From his first few crops more than 100 descendants of Fidertanz have had success as riding and dressage horses.

De Vito (De Niro)

Foundation's damsire, De Vito (De Niro), stems from a really choice dam line and is a "magician of movement" at the Böckmann station.  Apart from Depardieu, who is out of De Vito's grandam Elfie, Elfie also presented the state premium and Diamond Ring mare Elfira (1-d) and the advanced dressage horses Al Pacino by Akzent II as well as Great Gatsby by Gardegeneral.  Elfengold's sire Goldstern was one of the most highly frequented sires of his day, and a twofold millionaire.  Elfengold produced the dressage horses Franz Liszt by Figaro, Elfentanz by Figaro and the state premium mare Elfenschein, who was mated with De Niro to produce De Kuyper, the most expensive stallion contender of the Medingen autumn auction. A mating nick seems to be developing with this blood line, in which the epitome of quality of movement is already firmly anchored and made even more potent by the D-blood. De Vito-Depardieu-De Niro, great names that stand for success in sport and in breeding alike.
